Large doses of vitamin D depletes magnesium - gut health, supplements

Why doesn't Silver Fern™ Brand's K2D3 have more vitamin D in it?

Because most people don't need it.
The lion share of people already have magnesium deficiency. There is no need to intentionally make it worse. And if you need more Vitamin D in higher doses then please consider adding a magnesium supplement. I personally prefer Magnesium Glycinate and Magnesium L-Threonate together.

The current recommended range of daily Vitamin D is 600 to 800 IUs. If you are low in Vitamin D you can up to 1,500 to 2,000 IUs per day (or 2 K2D3 capsules). But unless a doctor suggests that you go mega high on your Vitamin D dosing each day, I may suggest not doing that. It is typically not recommended to go above 4,000 IUs.

Lastly, excessive sun exposure does not cause a vitamin D toxicity. Enjoy summer! 🌞
