Scared of probiotics because of past experience? Still nervous to take probiotics? There is probably good
reason.
.
One of the most common core factors behind many gut problems is a bacteria overgrowth in the small intestine. This overgrowth is commonly full of bacteria from the Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium families.
.
Introducing tens of billions of CFUs in a gut with overgrowth is going to hurt a lot. And some suggest this approach goes in opposition to solving the gut problems and, in fact, makes the issues worse.
.
“What about true probiotics? Shouldn’t they be immediately introduced? Isn’t it a good thing to kill off
all the bad stuff quickly?”
.
The truth is that it is a good idea to aggressively get rid of all the bad stuff in the gut. But when a stomach is really imbalanced that may be an uncomfortable approach to achieving gut health.
.
True probiotics are strong and effective but for the sake of trying to calm things down first I usually suggest true probiotics be taken as a second or third step to gut health when serious stomach issues exist.
.
Starting at the right spot with gut health can make all the difference. “Can some people start with probiotics to begin with?” Most people can. But for those with serious bloating, constipation, diarrhea, heartburn/reflux, stomach aches and pains, nausea, etc. I suggest starting at an earlier step in the process.
Why do probiotics hurt? There is help! - gut health, probiotics, cleanse, immunoglubulins, constipation, diarrhea, heartburn, reflux, bloating
