Obviously, I'm not confessing but let's say I know a guy that gets super irritable when cortisol is elevated. Oh yeah, and it makes losing visceral fat (the stubborn belly fat that's really tough to remove) dang near impossible.
Hi. My name is Phil. Like many of you, stress and anxiety are a never-ending replay in my life. With 5 kids, 2 businesses, coaching kids' sports, and all the rest of life, I can honestly say I am 100% sure I have had elevated cortisol for way too long. And I may (or do) struggle with depression that comes in the form of being ornery with a very short fuse. Weight loss for me? Not happening.
Unfortunately, I have also not found natural options that help me very well. Magtein® w/ magnesium glycinate at night helps. I still take this option. Ashwagandha and psychobiotics? Nothing! Better gut health? Sort of helps. Omega-3 fatty acids? Notta. Love em' though. B vitamins, Vitamin D, 5-HTP, St. and John's Wort? Maybe they helped but not enough to really notice. Believe it or not, I have also tried about 7 different brands of "clinically proven" saffron. I was "saffroned-out" when I finally tried a version that works.
There is one type of saffron that does work. I take 1 capsule in the morning with breakfast and 1 capsule in the evening with dinner. It took me about 6 to 8 weeks to notice changes.
Your question is, "Can I take it with depression meds?" The research I have says it "effectively complements antidepressant meds" and my experience says, "Yes." (24)
But, of course, I have to ask you to, "Please ask your doctor (who won't likely know the answer but the party who I am supposed to refer you to)."
If you'd like to take the edge off life and want to try what I found that works, we'd love to help. Please follow the instructions on slide 9.
