Signs of a sinus infection - gut health, immune support, allergies

My personal sinus infection history:

I would get roughly 3 sinus infections annually for about 15 years. No joke. I would get a cold. The cold would linger for weeks and weeks. My sinuses would hurt. I would try Sudafed, Flonase, sinus rinses, sinus sprays, zinc, vitamin c, elderberry, etc. the whole time. The pressure would build and build. My head would hurt. The pressure in my face would kill.

I would inevitably stop in to the doctor. He would verify that it had been more than 2 weeks to make sure it wasn't a virus. And then off I would go with my prescription for an antibiotic. The antibiotic would be less and less effective each year. This meant each year I would need a stronger antibiotic to get the help I needed. And each yearmy immune system got weaker and weaker. I was on a downward spiral.

Let's not stop there, I don't want to leave out my allergies. My sinuses and allergies were bad. In the fall and spring I constantly had a runny nose. Constantly. My nose constantly felt congested. It was not fun at all. Flonase helped some. Antihistamines helped some. But since my immune system was shot to hell, I was a contant stuffy, drippy, and congested mess.

Fast forward 9 years. I haven't had a sinus infection in the last 9 years. NINE! Which also means I haven't had an antibiotic in 9 years.
