Hashimoto's - gut health, hormone health, thyroid health

Did you know...?

1) Women are 7 times more likely to get Hashimoto's
2) Middle age (40-60) is when Hashimoto's will most likely occur
3) No gene has been found to carry it but it does seem to run in families
4) Other autoimmune issues increase the risk for Hashimoto's
5) Altered microbiota composition, too few short-chain fatty acids, and increased serum LPS levels (marker for leaky gut) are shown to be directly linked to Hashimoto's

What do we find that is really helpful for Hashimoto's issues?

You can find out more about how we help with Hashimoto's issues here. Yes, it does work. Yes, it does hyper-focus on helping decrease immune activation by way of binding toxins for elimination, strengthening the gut barrier (all of it - mucus layer, mucosal barrier, and epithelial layer), reducing inflammatory processes, and strengthening the immune system.

But does it actually work? Our co-founder has Hashimoto's. It was once a big problem for her: hair loss, low energy, irritation, brain fog, joint pain, etc. Now she does amazing and she eats gluten with no problems. She might say her Hashimoto's is in remission. She still takes her thyroid meds but the doctor has had her reduce the dosing a few times in the last 3 years. Notice I said "the doctor" had her reduce the meds (not anyone at Silver Fern™).

Do we guarantee everyone will have the same results? No. We do not. There are variables we can't control (your diet, stress, alcohol consumption, etc.). But it does seem to work very well for those who are already trying to eat healthy, exercise, and manage stress.
