The 4 major mistakes most people make when it comes to stomach issues.
❌️ People think a "GUT" cleanup is best for the stomach, so they start in the wrong spot. Stomach issues are stomach problems. The stomach and esophagus are different than the gut.
❌️ People think major issues that have existed for a long time are fixed in 30 days or less.
❌️ They believe too much stomach acid is their issue, it's likely the opposite.
❌️ They think that just because they are regular (not constipated) they don't have slow motility issues. FALSE. You can have diarrhea / loose stools and still have slow motility of the stomach and small intestine.
❌️ Some think a hiatal hernia can be fixed with products. You can't reset a broken bone with calcium, and you can't fix a hiatal hernia by building up the stomach barrier and improving gastric emptying. You can, however, reduce discomfort.
Hi! This is Phil. I had bad reflux and heartburn issues. I tried food avoidance. That was miserable.👎🏼 I loaded up on acid blockers. That worked well but scared me that I'd be on meds forever. 😬
Now, I eat whatever I want without issue. I didn't have a hiatal hernia (at least I don't think I did). If I had H. pylori overgrowth, I totally nuked it. Now, I live life again and eat what I want.
At Silver Fern™, we take a completely different approach to GERD issues. We don't want you stuck on stuff forever, and we do address causes.
MAJOR TIP: Gradually decrease acid blockers starting in weeks 4 to 6. Build a protective shield again in your stomach BEFORE you stop taking acid blockers.
Take our new Reflux Quiz to find out where you should start! It takes a quick, 5-seconds or less and we won't ask you for your email or contact info (because that's annoying). Don't want it? Don't do it.
Some of you may want some one-on-one help with your issues. I did. Hannah specializes in that.
