Why should kids take a probiotic? - gut health, respiratory infections
by Tiffany Cox October 05, 2022
Owning a gut health company, we understand the importance of our kids' gut health. So, what do we have them take? Our younger children (under 12 years old) take a chewable probiotic containing these strains. . I get asked a lot of questions about what strains children can take to help with upper respiratory tract infections and general discomforts. B. clausii and B. subtilis are great strains for that. . These strains help a child improve their microbiome and maintain a healthy microbiome, so they are less likely to have less severe cold/flu issues and stomach discomforts. . Anything to keep those kids healthy and minimize illness, especially during cold and flu season.
