Importance of immunoglobulins in children's health - gut health

If you think breastfeeding is good for newborns, you may want to look at immunoglobulins for children. One of the main reasons breastmilk is so good for infants is because it contains high levels of immunoglobulins.
.
Tiff and I have 5 children ranging from 8 to 18. Our children have used the immunoglobulins off and on for years since they were little.
.
When we travel with our children (especially out of the country) we require them to take the immunoglobulins daily along with kids' probiotics. Why? Because it helps keep things like traveller's diarrhea at bay.
.
When should a child not take immunoglobulins (from ImmunoLin®)? If they are hypersensitive (allergy) to beef.
.
Side Effects from immunoglobulins:
• Increased urination
• Headache
• Stomach cramps
• Flatulence
• Constipation
• Mild nausea
.
Why do side effects happen?
Immunoglobulins (SBI) rapidly bind to toxins. When toxin overload exists and immunoglobulins are suddenly introduced to the system, the binding for elimination can cause temporary discomforts, stool discoloration, and make for harder than normal stools. Further, when immunoglobulins bind toxins/antigens, they increase and change the overall size of the toxins to prevent them from flowing through a damaged gut lining (reducing inflammatory issues). This can cause temporary constipation, bloating, and/or an increase in stools.

To reduce or eliminate the side effects of immunoglobulins, ease children into taking them and have them drink more liquids. From what I have seen in my own children, the side effects are very rare, and if they do come up, they go away fast. In my opinion, the benefits well outweigh the negatives.
.
A child can take up to 10 grams of immunoglobulins a day. My suggestion is to ease them into 2 grams a day over 2 weeks then keep them at 2 grams with kid's probiotics.
