Stress, acidic food, injury inside the mouth, and other causes are known to be associated with cankers, but there are still a lot of unknowns when it comes to canker sores.

But did you know that people with a poor immune system are more likely to have reoccurring big painful canker sores?

What does this suggest? It suggests that you may want to work on your immune system to help with canker sores.

And as for the "secret" for helping with canker sores. It has been shown that higher doses (1,000 mcg) of B12 at bed time can help prevent canker sores and/or make them much less problematic.
