5 common gut health mistakes - gut health

Years ago we desperately needed help our then 12-year-old daughter who was recently diagnosed with a chronic pain syndrome (AMPS). With her pain syndrome came major gut problems: bloating, constipation, pain, gas, etc.

We learned a very hard lesson. There were no great answers for her.

Doctors told us MiraLAX.

And the supplement world? Well, that may have been even more disappointing. The supplement world (as we learned) is the Wild Wild West of under-formulated products that are full of "secret proprietary blends" of lots of ingredients. Very few of these "secret blends" contain clinically supported doses. And the quality of most of the ingredients? Poor at best. How did we learn this? The manufacturers and ingredient suppliers told us. This was mind-blowing.

We were fortunate though. I was connected to people who knew people who specialized in gut issues. Not doctors. Researchers. Microbiologists. The smart people. They kindly helped us find the right ingredients to use at the right doses in the right amount of time. And with that, our daughter's gut issues were made better. No more constipation. No more looking like a pregnant woman at 12 years old. No more food issues. Our baby girl was better. She is now 20. She functions normally. These same kind people then applied this same approach to help Tiffany with her Hashimoto's issues and me with my reflux, heartburn, "always man-cold sick", and frequently bloated self. It worked.

Here are our rules for Silver Fern™:
1️⃣ We know we can't formulate products that help 100% of people, 100% of the time. But we will not half-ass formulate products.
2️⃣ We are a business. That's true. But we know firsthand how 💩 feels. We are all-in on helping people. People are our priority.
3️⃣ Our focus is on our products and protocols being effective. Yes, we use organic, non-GMO verified, etc. types of ingredients. But people getting better is our focus, not label claims.
4️⃣ We will never stop improving.
